SHORT SUMMARY HIGHLIGHTS
This tour gives you the chance to visit Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) and Ruaha National Park. The trip will start from Dar-es-Salaam and end in Dar-es- Salaam. Selous game reserve (renamed Nyerere national park) and Ruaha national park are the largest national parks and certainly the highlights of Tanzania’s South.
Day 1
DAR ES SALAAM
On your arrival at Dar-es-Salaam International Airport, you will meet with the driver guide and transferred to your accommodation for check in, food, relaxation and a short briefing. Dar es Salaam is the major City and Commercial Port in Tanzania with a population of about more than 4 million people.

Day 2
DAR ES SALAAM TO NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and drive to Nyerere National Park. The journey from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park takes about 6-7 hours. When you arrive at your accommodation you will check in, food, relaxation and a short briefing.

DAY 3
NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning after breakfast with your lunch box for a full day game drive and later on transfer to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing. Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) is the largest game reserve in Africa which covers 45,000 square kilometers. It is estimated that the park is about three times the size of South Africa's Kruger National Park, and twice the size of the Serengeti National Park. The Park is surrounded by open woodland, mountains and forests which characterize this stunning park. The banks of River Rufiji are a permanent hunting ground for crocodile, lion, jackal, and hyena.

Day 4
NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning after breakfast with your lunch box for a half day game drive and after lunch at your accommodation property, you will go for a late afternoon boat safari till 18:00pm. On your boat safari you will have the chance to approach closely elephants, birds, giraffe crocodile and hippo. After boat safari you will transfer to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing.

Day 5
NYERERE NATIONAL PARK TO DAR ES SALAAM
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and drive to Dar es Salaam. The journey from Nyerere National Park to Dar es Salaam takes about 6-7 hours. When you arrive at your accommodation you will check in, food, relaxation and a short briefing.

Day 6
DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and transfer to Mikumi National Park. The journey from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park takes about 6 hours. When you arrive at your accommodation you will check in, and go for a late afternoon game drive till 18: 00pm.On your game drive you will have the chance to approach closely elephants, birds, lion, jackal, and hyena. After game drive you will be transferred to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing.

Day 7
MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning with your lunch box for a full day game drive. Mikumi National Park is characterized by semi-arid type of vegetation, baobab trees, Acacia and other species. On your game drive you may have the chance to encounter Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Elephants, African Wild Dogs, Birds, Crocodile and Hippo. After game drive you will be returned to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing.

Day 8
MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK TO UDZUNGWA NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and drive to Udzungwa National Park. The journey from Mikumi National Park to Udzungwa National Park takes about 2 hours. The Udzungwa Mountain National Park, which is 1990 square kilometers. Is the first terrestrial National Park in Tanzania, known for its biologically diverse forest, with approximately 20 – 30 percent out of 200 animals and plant species that grow here not found anywhere in the world. When you arrive at your accommodation you will check in, food, relaxation, short briefing and later on you will be taken for a half day walking/riding bicycle in the town of Mang’ula- Sanje.

Day 9
UDZUNGWA NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you after breakfast and transfer to Sanje for a half day hiking and swimming at plunge pools of Sanje water falls. This 180m waterfall is very impressive, surrounded by rainforest with excellent views over the Kilombero floodplain. At the top, you can swim in the refreshing plunge pool of the top waterfall (around 40m high) surrounded by thick rainforest. After activities you will be transferred to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing.

Day 10
UDZUNGWA NATIONAL PARK TO RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and drive to Ruaha National Park. The journey from Udzungwa National Park to Ruaha National Park takes about 2 hours. Ruaha National Park is Tanzania’s second largest National Park which covers (13,000 square kilometers). The Park is surrounded by Baobab-studded hills, rocky escarpments and dry river beds which characterize this stunning park. There about 436 bird species, 10,000 elephant, buffalo herds and other species including endangered African Wild Dog, hornbills, kingfishers and sunbirds. The banks of River Ruaha are a permanent hunting ground for lion, leopard, cheetah, jackal, hyena and wild dog.

Day 11
RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning with your lunch box for a full day game drive. On your game drive you may have the chance to encounter Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Elephants, African Wild Dogs, Birds, Crocodile and Hippo as they come to drink water at River Ruaha which is the main water source in the park. After game drive you will be returned to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing.

Day 12
RUAHA NATIONAL PARK TO DAR-ES-SALAAM
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and transfer to Ruaha Airstrip for a domestic flight to Dar-es-Salaam, where you will be facilitated with a day room for freshen up, until your boarding time to Dar es Salaam International Airport for onward flight to your home country. the journey from Ruaha National Park to Dar-es-Salaam takes about 1 hour and half. If the time allows, when you arrive at Dar-es-Salaam, you will visit the National Museum, Kigamboni Fish Market and go for shopping before transferred to Dar-es- Salaam International Airport for onward flight to your home country. END OF TRIP

- Final balance payment of the tour booked is required to be paid not later than 21 days before the tour starts. Bookings made within 21 days of the tour start date should be paid in full.
- Cancellation received 35 days or more before the tour starts: No Cancellation Fees will be charged.
- Cancellation received 11 - 34 days before the tour starts: 30% Cancellation Fee will be charged.
- Cancellation received 3 – 10 days before the tour starts: 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
