MIKUMI UNFORGETTABLE TOUR
SHORT SUMMARY HIGHLIGHTS
This tour gives you the chance to visit the Mikumi National Park. The Park is located 283 km west of Dar es Salaam and it was established in 1964 and up to now is widely considered the country’s 4th largest national park. There’s a very good chance that while you are here you might see elephant, buffalo, impala, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, hippo, big cats; like lion and leopard are also possibly to be seen. In additional to that, you may see the cultural experience at a nearby Maasai village. This is a good park to visit if you are coming to Tanzania through Zanzibar or Dar-es-Salaam.
DAY 1
DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and transfer to Mikumi National Park. The journey from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park takes about 6 hours. When you arrive at your accommodation you will check in, and go for a late afternoon game drive till 18: 00pm.On your game drive you will have the chance to approach closely elephants, birds, lion, jackal, and hyena. After game drive you will be transferred to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing.

DAY 2
MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning with your lunch box for a full day game drive. Mikumi National Park is characterized by semi-arid type of vegetation, baobab trees, Acacia and other species. On your game drive you may have the chance to encounter Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Elephants, African Wild Dogs, Birds, Crocodile and Hippo. After game drive you will be returned to your accommodation for food, relaxation and a short briefing.

DAY 3
MIKUMI TO DAR ES SALAAM
The driver guide will pick you early in the morning and transfer to Dar es Salaam, where you will be facilitated with a day room for freshen up, until your boarding time to Dar es Salaam International Airport for your flight to your home country. the journey from Mikumi National Park to Dar-es-Salaam takes about approximately 6 hours. If the time allows, when you arrive at Dar-es-Salaam, you will visit the National Museum, Kigamboni Fish Market and go for shopping before transferred to Dar-es-Salaam International Airport for onward flight to your home country. Alternatively, you will be departed to the location that you preferred/suggested.

- Nonrefundable 30% deposit is required to secure the tour and begin the necessary booking processes and ground preparations. An invoice will be sent to the client together with the payment instructions.
- Final balance payment of the tour booked is required to be paid not later than 21 days before the tour starts. Bookings made within 21 days of the tour start date should be paid in full.
- Cancellation received 35 days or more before the tour starts: No Cancellation Fees will be charged.
- Cancellation received 11 - 34 days before the tour starts: 30% Cancellation Fee will be charged.
- Cancellation received 3 – 10 days before the tour starts: 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
- Cancellation received within 48hrs before the tours starts: 100% Cancellation Fee will be charged.
